It has been a week, we are talking about WordCamp Nagpur 2018. The most common question that is asked to organizing team is
“Last year, you guys had Workshop Day, Plugin Pratiyogita and Session day. which were great pieces of WordCamp to attend. What’s going to happen this year at WordCamp Nagpur?”
We learnt lots of things from last years Mistakes, We are trying to rectify them this year along with some awesome ideas from other WordCamps.
So here’s our plan for WordCamp Nagpur 2018
Saturday 21st July 2018, WordCamp Day
This year we planned to have three Parallel tracks for Sessions, Workshops and Panels. Tentative Schedule as follows:
- 9 AM – Registration Desk Opens
- 9 AM to 10 AM – You can continue Networking over breakfast
- 10.00 AM – We will start with Welcome & Introduction
- Last year, due to first time organizing experience, we were busy in settling things. We were not able to convey the format. We look forward to correcting that mistake this year
- 10.30 AM – Sessions / Panels / Workshops Start
- Last year, tracks were not in sync, This year we make sure to follow timings. all sessions will follow Schedule, keeping tracks on time and in Sync. and Enough time break so people can engage in Networking area and change Tracks.
- 5.00 PM – Closing Ceremony & Winner Announcements for Various Contest conducted on the Camp Day.
- 7.30 PM – After Party / Networking Party,
- Will Announce Venue and Details shortly.
Sunday 22nd, 2018 – Contributor Day
- 8.00 AM – Networking in Sports Field (That’s new, will elaborate in next post)
- 11.00 AM – Contributor Day (Multiple tracks)
- 01.00 PM – 2.00 PM – Lunch
- 2.00 PM – 5.00 PM Contributor Tracks Continued.
So technically its still two-day camp, this time First day is Conference day. The ticket we are charging is specifically for Conference Day Only and does not include access to networking dinner/After Party.
